Two Maoists are shot dead in an encounter while trying to escape. At least that’s the police version of the story. An official inquiry is ordered and a police officer dispatched from Delhi to deal with the local affair. Unlike many of his colleagues, Inspector Daya is determined to uncover the truth. as he begins digging, he discovers a chain of corruption and deceit that leads to the shadowy world where politics and business mingle.
